Free As A Bird - Christmas in July for Coffee & Cards!
Hello, this week has been designated Christmas in July!! Every year I have one July C & C session that is all about Christmas; as you know, it is never too early to start preparing for Christmas!
I was chatting with one of my team last week and she gave me the idea to use the single bird image from the Free As A Bird stamp set as a robin.
I spent ages this morning colouring robins and then discarding them because they weren't quite right. I then spent even longer looking at images of robins on Pinterest.
I put a post on my facebook page asking which one looked best. The answer was a resounding vote for the one on the left. (You will of course, be able to colour your robins however you wish).
Here are the projects we will be making - a card and a pillow box with a tag.
This week we will be stamping, die cutting, punching, embossing, creating a water colour background and colouring with the Stampin' Blends - so, we are going to be busy!
One of my crafty ladies does not like the word 'merry' so if you prefer it can be swapped for 'happy'.
If you would like to join me, you can find me at the following locations next week. Please note there will be no session on Monday.
Tuesday - both projects
Thursday - both projects
I will be posting more details of these projects and the products I used to create them later this week.
If you would like to join me for a crafty coffee this week, please send me a message to let me know so I can prepare a kit for you!
Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee soon.
