Parcels & Petals - quick & simple

Here are the details for our first project this week using the Parcels & Petals bundle.

We used one of my favourite Stitched Shape Circles dies, stamping the lovely trio of flowers with Rococo Rosie ink (stamped off).  I love that all three flowers are one one stamp with the dots.  We used Pear Pizazz ink, also stamped off for the little leaves.

The flowers and leaves are known as distinctive images.  Stamping off first before stamping on your project allows all the detail to show.

Top Tip
Stamping off first is especially important when you are working with a juicy new ink pad!

A die cut from the Petals & Parcels bundle has been cut out with Rococo Rose card and adhered to the note care with Tombow.  The stamped circle was adhered with Dimensionals.

We used a die from a set called Lakeside to create a little banner for the sentiment.  We used the same flower and leaf images to add detail to the banner.  The banner was adhered to the card front using a double layer of Dimensionals.

Top Tip
Stamp the banner before scoring the ends.  This way you achieve clean and crisp images.  If you look to the left of the photo you can just about see where the score lines are - a case of do as I say, not as I do methinks!

The inside of the card and the envelope were stamped to match.

Looking at the finished card I knew it reminded me of another project from last year ... and then, it came to me - Tranquil Tulips - a Coffee & Cards project from April 2018!

I have one further C & C session this week, if you would like to join me to make this card and another project, you can all find the details here.  Don't forget that if you place a £25 plus order on Thursday you can craft for free!

Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.

Happy crafting!
