Dino Days - quick & simple
Hello, here are the details for our first card this week using a stamp and coordinating die bundle called Dino Days.
I am on a mission this week to share ideas to use up DSP. The Dinoroar DSP is so bright and colourful it just has to be used!
Here is the card I made.
The project started with a piece of DSP cut 5mm smaller than the card base.
We used my favourite Stitched Rectangle dies to create a couple of simple layers. The WW layer has been adhered to the Old Olive layer with Tombow and then the panel has been adhered to the card front with dimensionals.
These super cute dinosaurs and the pterosaurs (I googled it) have actually been fussy cut from a sheet of DSP. There are so many on the sheets and they were quite easy to fussy cut. I used dimensionals to adhere them to the card front.
A simple sentiment stamped in Pretty Peacock onto a scrap of ww completes this quick and simple card.
I used a scrap of the DSP on the inside of the card too across the bottom.
I used some of the DSP to add colour to the envelope flap too.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
This colourful card was quick and simple to make, why not have a look at your stash of DSP and see what you could make?
Thanks to the ladies who braved the current heatwave (in the UK), to craft with me today - I'm sure things will be back to normal very soon!
Have a craft week.
