Floral Essence - quick & simple
Here are the details for our first project this week using a stamp set and coordinating punch called Floral Essence.
We used the lovely Scripty Embossing Folder to create a background for our card using Seaside Spray cardstock.
We then created a flower using Seaside Spray ink - stamping the flower and the leaf image twice before punching with the coordinating punches.
The centre of the flower was created with Seaside Spray card and two dies from the Magnolia Memory dies.
The petals and the centres have been curled and shaped before being assembled using Tombow and dimensionals.
One of the In-Colour Faceted Dots has been placed in the centre.
The leaves were also curled and shaped before being adhered with Tombow using a tiny dab at the end of the stems to create lots of dimension.
A piece of Seaside Scalloped Linen Ribbon was adhered around the embossed panel which was adhered to the note card with Tombow.
A simple sentiment, from Butterfly Gala (still on my desk from last week), stamped onto a Stitched Rectangle frame finishes of this little note card.
The inside of the card has been stamped with the flower and also the flap on the envelope. After stamping the first image, re ink and then stamp again offsetting to create a complete flower.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
At Coffee & Cards today I decided to change my card a little.
I embossed a panel of Whisper White card instead and left off the sentiment.
Doesn't it look different?
Obviously, I can't decide which version I like best! You will be able to choose which version you would like to make if you join me on Thursday.
