Snow Front for The Joy Of Sets Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to another Joy Of Sets Blog Hop. If you are starting here with me or joining me from the lovely Libby Fens, welcome! This month our challenge was to create a tri-fold card and I'm sure you will find lots of inspiration as you hop along with us.
I received a delivery from Mr Brown earlier this week and I have a stack of brand new stamp sets that I ordered from the Autumn / Winter catalogue. I knew as soon as I saw the catalogue that I needed this stamp set called Snow Front!
When I get the chance I will pull another stamp set off my shelf called Waterfront - its in the same style as Snow Front and I am sure they will work beautifully together.
Here are the colours I used for my project.
My project is not strictly a tri-fold card, it is in fact known as a Bridge Fold. However, it does give you three panels to decorate or, if you are like me and get carried away you can decorate the two inside side panels too!
Of course I left my project until the very last minute again - sigh! I even forgot that I had intended to watercolour the panels (hence the water colour card) until I was stamping the panel for the reverse and discovered my stamp was still wet from cleaning!
I confess I am not entirely pleased with my project but, I will make another version at some point just to prove I have learnt from my mistakes.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
I took many photos showing how I made my project, far too many for one post, so I will do another post next week, probably on Tuesday, giving more details - I hope you will visit again to see how I put this project together.
Next on the hop is Rebecca-Jo Unwin - I can't wait to see her project!
Don't forget to leave comments as you hop around with us to let us know what you think of our projects!
Happy hopping.
Susan xx
Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and you live in the UK, I would love to be yours!
If you need to order any supplies, simply use my “shop with me” button or click on the catalogue links on the right. Alternatively, contact me and I would be happy to place an order for you.
If you would like copies of any of the current catalogues let me know and I will pop them in the post for you. If you prefer, you can view online versions by clicking the links to the right of this post. The new 2019/20 Autumn / Winter catalogue is available now - if you haven't got a copy yet and would like one, just let me know.
Would you like to receive a FREE gift from me?
All orders placed directly with me or online receive a handmade card from me as a thank you but did you know that all orders over £20 (excluding postage) will receive a gift from me too? If you use the current Hostess Code I will pop something in with your order or post directly to you. (Please remember to allow me to access your contact details otherwise I won't be able to contact you).
If your order is over £150 please don't use the code as you will receive your own Stampin' Rewards. You will still receive a card and a gift from me.
If you are local to me and can collect, I’m happy for you to piggyback one of my orders to save on postage.
Thank you for shopping with me and supporting my business!
