Peaceful Boughs - stepped up
Here are the details for our second project this week using the Peaceful Boughs bundle.
The colours used for this project are very different from the previous project aren't they?
This project also uses a mix of metallics; Delicata gold ink and gold and champagne metallic foils.
As I have been saying all week, this stamp and die bundle (= 10% saving) is so versatile. I have so many ideas in my head that Peaceful Boughs could well make another appearance for Coffee & Cards before the year is out!
Thanks to everyone who joined me this week - I'm not sure what we will be doing next week as I am busy prepping for my Christmas Stamp a Stack on Saturday. Something will present itself so I will share over the weekend.
I'm back again on Saturday, hopping along with a brand new group of stampers so come back soon.
Happy crafting!

This project also uses a mix of metallics; Delicata gold ink and gold and champagne metallic foils.
For this project I used a Sahara Sand card base and a panel that was cut 5mm smaller than the base.
I used Grey Granite ink to stamp some of the smaller boughs from the stamp set around the edges of my panel.
I then used the Delicata Gold ink pad and the tiny dotty image to fill in a few of the gaps.
Grey Granite ink is a strange colour; in my opinion, neither grey or brown - sort of an in between colour. Anyway, I love it!
I then scuffed the edges of the panel - not all my crafty ladies chose to do this though!
I used the coordinating dies and some gold foil to cut out some boughs and adhered to the panel with Tombow.
I used Soft Suede card to cut the bases for the pine cones and Champagne foil for the top layers. So pretty and a lovely contrast with the gold foil.
I used one of the frame dies in the set and very vanilla card and stamped the sentiment with Gold Delicata ink. This die is very clever - the holes are cut out for you so you can thread with ribbon of perhaps cover with a flower or something.
I placed dimensionals behind the sentiment and attached some of this pretty ribbon to each side before adhering the panel to the card with more dimensionals.

The pine cones have been adhered with Tombow and dimensionals.
I was quite pleased with how this card turned out - the Sahara Sand base makes a nice change and the mix of metallics is so pretty.
I stamped an assortment of boughs and dots on a very vanilla insert too.
