Tidings All Around - stepped up
Hello, are are the details for our first project this week using the Tidings All Around stamp and die bundle. If you have a look on page 3 of the Autumn/Winter you will see where I got my inspiration from - all I did was tweak it a little!
I used Sahara Sand for the card base. I also used my Stamparatus for this project - the wreath is a rather large image and using the Stamparatus makes life so much easier.
The large wreath has been stamped onto a panel of thick whisper white card 5mm smaller than the card base using Mint Macaron ink.
I also stamped the sentiment in the centre using Real Red ink.
The white panel was then adhered to the base with dimensionals.
I then die cut little wreaths from Mint Macaron and Mossy Meadow card. Both were adhered to the card using lots of mini dimensionals, slightly offsetting each layer.
I then die cut lots of little fronds and punched out lots of berries. The fronds have been adhered with Tombow around the middle of the wreath and the berries with dimensionals have been dotted around.
I then got a bit carried away adding fake snow to the top layer (I found it n my crafty stash). I tied a little bow using the lovely Mint Macaron textile ribbon and added to one side with a glue dot.
Here is the finished card.
I also created a slightly different version of this project at my Monday Coffee & Cards session adding a deer to the centre of the wreath instead of a sentiment. If you decide to add or deer (or anything else) think about where you place the berries - just saying!
My final Coffee & Cards session this week is on Thursday afternoon - you can find the details HERE. Why not join me to make a version of this project and another one? Don't forget to let me know you are coming so I can prepare a kit for you! Next week we will be doing something non Christmassy!
Crafty hugs,
Susan xx
