A Good Man - stepped up
Here are the details for our final project this week using a stamp set called A Good Man.
I have not made an easel card for quite some time; I had forgotten how much fun they are!
Card Base
Night of Navy card measuring 14.5 cm x 10.5 cm. To make the easel simply score at 5.2 cm on one side and crease.
Front Panel
Night of Navy 14.5 x 10.5 cm. Crumb Cake card 13.5 x 9.5 cm adhered to the Night of Navy card with Tombow. Whisper White (ww) card 12.5 x 8.5 cm.
The image has been stamped with Memento and the sentiment from a stamp set called Perennial Birthday with Night of Navy.
The image has been coloured with Stampin' Blends. I wrapped some Night of Navy and Sahara Sand Baker's Twine around the coloured panel, adhering on the back with tape. The panel has then been adhered with dimensionals.
Inside
A panel of ww measuring 13 x 9.5 cm has been adhered with double sided tape.
A piece of DSP measuring 13 x 4cm has been adhered approx 1 cm from the bottom.
The sentiment has been stamped in Night of Navy on a piece of ww measuring 13 x 2cm which has been adhered to a 13 x 3cm panel of Crumb Cake card with Tombow. This panel has then been adhered across the DSP with dimensionals and will form the 'stopper' for the easel.
Assembling the card
The stamped panel now needs to be adhered to the card front.
I used Tombow as it allows a little wriggle room to align the panel.
Top Tip
Think about where you need the glue!
Here is the completed card and envelope. I stamped the main image using Smoky Slate on the envelope for a softer look.
You may know that I like to scuff my edges, so here is a slightly different version of this project.
I think the scuffed edges look more 'manly'! I'm pleased to report that all but two of my crafty ladies scuffed their edges too - looks like I am winning them over! I shall make the two who didn't scuff my mission for 2020!!
