Back On Your Feet - stepped up
Here are the details for our final project this week using a stamp set called Back On Your Feet.
This is one of those projects that did not turn out how I planned, the leaves were necessary to cover a little black splodge but, this turned out to be a happy accident I think!
We embossed a panel of Crumb Cake card cut 5mm smaller than the card base with the Layered Leaves 3d embossing folder.
The sloth has been stamped with Memento ink onto a panel of thick WW card and coloured with the Stampin' Blends. The coloured panel has been adhered using dimensionals.
It was at this point that I discovered the black splodge. I used the leaves from Painted Harvest, stamped in Old Olive and punched them out with the Leaf punch. Each leaf has been curled and shaped and adhered with just a tiny dab of Tombow on the end of each stem.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
I made an alternative version of this project using the giraffe image - my friends daughter has a bad case of Tonsillitis at the moment so I hope this card will cheer her up a little.
I also stamped on the inside of the card too.
