Snowflake Wishes - stepped up

Hello, here are the details for the second project this week using the Snowflake Wishes bundle.  The idea for this project came from a little Wedgewood pot that I recently discovered whilst moving everything out of harms way during ongoing building work.

Here is my project:

Craftyduckydoodah, Snowflake Wishes, Stampin' Up, Christmas 2020,

The colours I used:
The nearest SU colour for Wedgewood Blue is Seaside Spray and as I had some shimmery ribbon in the same colour it was ideal!

You will need:

21 cm x 14.5 cm ww thick - scored at 10.5 cm

10 cm x 14 cm Seaside Spray

10 cm x 14 cm ww thick

10 cm x 2 cm ww thick for the sentiment panel

Small piece of ww thick for die cutting

The background:

I used the Winter Snow embossing folder on the ww and Seaside spray 10 x 14 cm pieces of card.  The detail on this folder is amazing; each little snowflake is perfect and so detailed.

Cut a 4.5cm strip from the ww embossed panel and adhere to the Seaside Spray one using Tombow.  (You can save the leftover piece for another project).

Adhere a piece of ribbon across the join securring on the reverse with double sided tape.

The sentiment:

Stamp this pretty sentiment onto the 2cm piece of ww thick card with Night of Navy ink.

To assemble:

Adhere the background panel to the card front with dimensionals.  Adhere the sentiment to the card with dimensionals too.

You will need two die cut two snowflakes.  I used mini dimensionals to adhere to the card.  A trio of blue gems adds some sparkle with two of them hiding the dimensionals!

The inside/envelope:

I used Seaside Spray ink to stamp a decorative border along the bottom of the card and the side of the envelope.

Top Tip

Rotate the snowflake stamp each time you stamp for a more natural, less regimented look.

The completed project:

This project would also work as a landscape card - you would also be able to more or larger snowflakes!

Craftyduckydoodah, Snowflake Wishes, Stampin' Up, Christmas 2020,

I hope you liked my Wedgewood inspired card.  I'm back at the weeking hopping along with not one but two blog hops!  What with all the building work going on and the dust and the NOISE I have not managed to start my projects yet ... I guess I am going to be busy!

Have a crafty weekend.
