Dragonfly Garden - bundle focus

Hello, I hope everyone is safe and well wherever you are in the World.  Today I will be sharing some projects using the fabulous Dragonfly Garden bundle.

I have been rushed off my feet recently and, sadly have not had much chance to play with many of my new crafty goodies yet.

I did attempt to tidy up my craft room a little over the holidays and came across a project I made for a friends birthday.  The fact that I found the project means that I could not find it when I needed it in December!  Does this happen to others to or just me I wonder?

Way back in November I got my hands on the Dragonfly Garden bundle because I love Dragonflies and it was also the bundle that us Demonstrators used for our OnStage make and take projects.

News is spreading that a new wave of fraudulent card activity has started again but this time showing as Destination Athlete - US. I'm reading that some new cards have not even been used with SU. If you don't already, please keep a close eye on your accounts. I sincerely hope you won't be affected.

I don't think I would have ever used the DSP in the way shown above but I sort of like it.

This project surprised me, I am not a fan of 'dirty' (i.e. not white!) backgrounds but this one is growing on me.  However, I am not of fan of the use of the DSP shown above at all!

Again, not a fan of how the DSP has been used on this project.  However, I can see me making a version of this project with a white background ....

The Dragonfly Garden bundle is part of the Dandy Garden Suite which is made of many wonderful items that I just had to have as soon as it was available.

Craftyduckydoodah, Stampin' Up, Dragonfly Garden,

This lovely suite contains images of butterflies, bees and of course dragonflies along with ladybirds and foliage.  The Ladybug Trinkets are so cute and will add a real wow factor to any project - if you can bear to use them that is!!

I can see me using items in this suite a lot; I love the sentiments in a mix of fronts and the flower images are so pretty.  Anyone remember a long retired stamp set called Dragonfly Dreams?

So, here is a sneaky peak of my project that I made for my friends birthday.

White space and scuffed edges are much more to my liking!  Sometimes it is good to move out of your comfort zone and try other styles of crafting though isn't it?

I will send this card to my friend anyway as I know she will love it.  I will be back at the weekend with more details of this project and others.

Happy crafting.
