Craftyduckydoodah! June Updates
Hello and welcome to June! I know I say this every month but what happened to May - how can it be June already?
Such a lot happening in the world of Stampin' Up! right now, special offers, new catalogue (soon) and Sale-A-Bration 2 (soon) and discounted Last Chance products so, here is all the information you need in one place.
The Last Chance Product List is now available - there are some really good discounts available with discounts of up to 50% off retiring products.
With a brand new mini catalogue launching on 1st July it is time to say goodbye items that will be retiring from the January - June mini catalogue.
You can see the retiring list HERE or you can visit my online shop HERE if you prefer to look at images of the items retiring with the discounts applied.
As ever, items are only available whilst stocks last so don't delay if there is something you absolutely need.
Not only are there two brand new kits available from today but there is a buy one get one for 50% off promotion on all kits until 30th June!
This is the perfect time to stock up on kits for yourself or as gifts for family and friends. The discount will be applied at checkout and ... drum roll please ... the most expensive kit is the one with the 50% discount!!
One of the new kits is Robot Buddies, great cards for children and this would be a lovely kit to create together with children or grandchildren making cards for their friends too.
The Kindness Cards Kit includes everything you need to create 8 coaster cards and comes with a cute travel sized tin to hold it all. You could keep the tin yourself (I love a nice tin for storage) or you could decorate and pop a gift inside for someone special.
July to December Mini Catalogue/Sale-A-Bration 2
I have placed my order for the upcoming mini catalogues and the Sale-A-Bration brochures this morning. If you would like copies just let me know.
Coffee & Cards
I re-started these session 3 weeks ago with a slightly different format and they are proving very popular. Sessions are limited to a maximum of 4 and focus on either fancy fold cards, 3d items, a particular technique or tool. I have started sharing details of upcoming projects on facebook and my blog BUT, I will not be posting further details or measurements/tutorials for the projects on my blog.
This week we made instant pop up cards - a fun technique to add real dimension to projects which don't get squished in the envelope!
Our next project is a special one that will be completed over two weeks. It's a project I designed over a year ago and just never had the chance to offer as a class! Not sure what the card is called but will go with a domed diorama card for now. The card will be the first project and then we will be making a decorated box for the card the following week.
If you have any ideas or suggestions for these sessions just let me know and I will see what I can do. Perhaps you have always wanted to create a fun fold card or try a particular technique?
Workshops
Friday 10th June 7 - 9pm
Saturday 11th June 2 - 4pm
Cost £22 (includes a full pack of the gorgeous Hues of Happiness DSP - £11.25).
We will be using the Happiness Abounds bundle to create three pretty cards and envelopes. We will be stamping, die cutting and using a no line colouring technique to create beautiful flowers. Spaces for both workshops are very limited - just a couple of places left.
To avoid disappointment, keep an eye on my facebook events page for details of upcoming workshops and book/pay as soon as possible.
For all classes and workshops please bring basic craft tools with you (bone folder, scissors etc) and your preferred adhesives. I always have a limited supply of adhesives available to purchase if you forget or run out!
Full payment in advance is the only way to guarantee your place as regretfully, I have been let down in the past saving places for people who have not attended.
We have a four day weekend in the UK to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. I have recently returned to a local care home and we have been very busy recently making items to celebrate the occassion!
Would you believe that the lovely lady in this photo recently celebrated her 100th birthday!
We made lots of paper chain decorations that brought back happy memories and Union Jack windmills which are always great fun!If you need any advice before placing an order or you have any crafty questions, please get in touch - I'm always happy to help. You can email me susan_merrey@yahoo.co.uk or telephone 07905 403 823 during normal working hours, if I can't get to the phone, please leave a message.
Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and you live in the UK, I would love to be yours!
