Craftyduckydoodah! September Updates

Hello and welcome to September!  I love this time of the year, days still with some sunshine and the promise of crisp Autumn mornings and maybe a swish through fallen leaves = heaven for me!  I hope everyone managed to get all the free Sale-A-Bration items they wanted.  The Hippest Hippos stamps and coordinating dies proved to be very popular with everyone especially the ladies at this weeks Coffee & Cards when we made this wobbler card!

This month there is so much happening in the world of Stampin' Up! in fact, even more than usual so, here is all the information you need in one place.

Every week during September we are offering weekly deals with discounts on select products.  The discounts and product selections will vary each week with details announced on my facebook page on the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd September.  Discounts can also be added to a starter kit too so, if you have a long wish list why not contact me for details on joining our team and make the benefits and savings work for you?

Some stamp sets are perfect on their own but, when paired with coordinating dies they are even better!  Stampin' Up! have created 6 new die sets that coordinate with sets in the Annual Catalogue and the July to December Mini Catalogue.  These coordinating dies will only be available from the 1st - 30th September.

Coffee & Cards

Every Tuesday 10:30 - 12:30 at my home in Godmanchester.  

These sessions are proving very popular and, I hope to add an additional date/time very soon.  Full details can be found on my facebook page and places are limited each week so let me know if you would like to join me asap.

Different projects every week - sometimes a fancy fold or a technique.  We always have a good time and its a great way to make new crafty friends.

During August we have made a shaker card, a flower pot easel card, a wobbler card and decorated a notebook!

Workshops - This Birthday Piggy

Dates: Friday 16th September 7pm - 9pm  

    &     Saturday 17th September 2pm - 4pm

Venue: Godmanchester

Cost: £25 and includes your own set of 13 pencils worth £15, materials needed to create 3 projects and light refreshments.

Upgrade: £36.75 as above but also includes an additional 10 pencil set with even more colours worth £11.75.  Also includes a free Blender Pen as a thank you gift from me.

We will be using these high quality, smooth water colour pencils to colour 3 bold and colourful projects using the fun Birthday Piggy stamp set with a choice of background colour.  You will learn different techniques and ways to perfect your colouring with these lovely pencils.

If you would like to join me for either of these workshops booking and prepayment is essential by the 7th September so I can order enough water colour pencils to ensure they arrive in time.

You will need to bring a basic tool kit, a paper trimmer and your preferred adhesives with you to classes and workshops.  A limited supply of adhesives will be available to purchase if you run out or forget!

Crafting for Christmas - save the date!

A date for your diary - Saturday 15th October 10 am - 4pm.

Join me for a full day of crafting to kick start you Christmas crafting.  I have a fabulous wreath designed for you along with a stack of Christmas cards.  The lovely Rica from Pinnies Tea Rooms will providing lunch and cake again too!  

This year the event will take place at my home in Godmanchester, there will be Christmas music, lots of crafting, chatting, cake and mince pies, a chance for a pick from the Craftyducky lucky dip bag and maybe Christmas jumpers too!

Finally, the crafting for Ukraine event went very well - thank you to the many people popped by to say hello and craft with me!  Here is a selection of photos taken by the lovely Ira who is a visitor to Ukraine.  She came along to support the event and it was a pleasure to meet and chat with her - her English is excellent and much better than my Ukraine!
