Craftyduckydoodah! September Updates

Hello and welcome to September!  I have been saying this all year but, I really don't know how the year is slipping by so quickly - do you?  This is truly my favourite time of the year!  I went for a walk with friends this morning, along the river and round a local water meadow - such a beautiful morning.  Have you started your Christmas crafting Yet?  I have!!!  If I can help you get ready for Christmas in any way just let me know.

FREE Online Event - Register now!

It’s time to celebrate one of our favourite days of the year - World Card Making Day! Join us on 5th October as we celebrate this day with a creative virtual event. We’ll create five simple cards together and show you some additional fun projects. Crafters of all skill levels are invited and welcome to join. And the event and registration are FREE!

Coffee & Cards

Last month we created a variety of projects including ones for Christmas!  One of my favourite August projects were the ones below using a bundle called Spotlight on Nature.  Monochrome cards using blue tones with lots of white space (what's not to love)?

Each week we make different projects, it could be a fancy fold or a new technique; there is always something different to try each week!

Sessions take place every Tuesday, 10.30 - 12.30pm in Godmanchester.  The cost is £12 and includes all materials, tuition and light refreshments.  Classes are suitable for all level of crafters from absolute beginner to more advanced crafters.  Keep an eye on my facebook page for further details.

If you are unable to attend the regular morning session drop me a message as I may be able to offer either an afternoon or evening session for you. 

Workshops

This month we will be using the ever so pretty Frames & Flowers Speciality Designer Series Paper.

We will be creating a mini album and SIX cards so we are going to be very busy!

Cost will be £35 and includes a full pack of Frames & Flowers DSP (£9.50), tuition, materials and light refreshments.

Frames & Flowers Workshop Tuesday 17th September 7pm - 9.30pm

Classes take place in Godmanchester and places are already limited.  There will be plenty of leftovers for you to take home too!

For all classes and workshops please bring basic craft tools with you (bone folder, scissors, paper trimmer etc) if you have them and your preferred adhesives - I have limited supplies available for sale on the day if you forget or run out.

Classes take place at my home in Godmanchester unless otherwise stated.

Full payment is the only way to guarantee your place as regretfully, I have been let down in the past saving places for people who have not attended.

Sorry, no refunds unless I cancel the event. If for any reason you are unable to attend, I will do my best to find someone else to take your place but can't guarantee to do so. If not, your workshop kit will be available for collection after the event (kit will include basic supplies but no stamped images as per SU rules).

Godmanchester Town Show

I may have mentioned how much I enjoy my Monday afternoon craft sessions at a local independent living facility!  The ladies at McCartney House will be making an appearance at our local Town Show on Saturday (7th 2pm - 5pm, Godmanchester Community Plant Nursery).  if you are local, they would love you to pop along to say hello!  (They are very excited)!! I will take photos to share later too.
