Hello and welcome to November!  Here at Craftyducky HQ Christmas crafting is in full swing and I can often be found sparkling with glitter after a crafty session.  Afterall, Christmas is not complete without glitter is it?

New - Colour Coach

Do you want to know what Stampin' Up! colours look good together?  The Colour Coach is here to help!

The Colour Coach is our version of the colour wheel and is based on colour theory - the combination of art and science that determines what colours look good together.

One side of the Colour Coach has all the current Stampin' Up! colours (except Neutrals) laid out with a spinning wheel in the centre.  This centre wheel gives you monochromatic, complementary, analogous and triadic information about our colours.  The back explains each of these concepts, plus our range of neutral colours.

Christmas Ornaments Workshop

I have a couple of spare places; if anyone is interested in joining us please let me know asap.

Friday 8th November - 7pm to 9pm

Cost £35

There will be festive fun aplenty at this kit workshop.  There will be mince pies, Christmas music and chances for a pick from the 'ducky dip' bag too.  Don't forget to wear your Christmas jumper for an extra chance of a 'ducky dip'!!  Full details of the event can be found HERE.

Season of Elegance Workshop (please note this workshop is a repeat of the morning session).

Tuesday 19th November

7pm - 9pm

We will be using the fabulous Season of Elegance Suite to create 8 Christmas cards (4 each of two designs). Colour choice of Old Olive or Pretty Peacock.

Cost: £38 to include all materials, equipment and light refreshments. You will also receive a full pack of Iridescent Basic Pearls (£7) and a full reel of Iridescent Striped Trim (£8)!

New - Felting Workshops

The first felting workshop was a success - everyone managed to complete their projects!

I have two further felting workshops taking place this month.  Please book your place(s) as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

If you attend all three felting workshops the price of the final workshop will be reduced to £30 as an extra thank you from me.

Needle Felting Workshop - Robin

Saturday23rd November - 2pm till 5pm

Cost £35

This project is perfect for beginners or experienced felters alike. The finished Robin is around 13cm.

Needle Felting Workshop - Snowman

Saturday 30th November - 2pm to 5pm

Cost £35 or £30 is you have attended all three needle felting workshops.

This project is perfect for beginners or experienced felters alike. The finished Snowman is around 15cm.

Coffee & Cards

Another busy month for us at Craftyducky HQ and, it is fair to say, we are in full on Christmas project mode now!  Lots of heat embossing and sparkle!

We used the delightful Reindeer Fun Suite not once but twice.  I think this is my current favourite from the mini catalogue.

We also experimented with different ways of adding colour to our projects  including one which used around twenty (yes, twenty) rubber bands!  We made a couple of fancy folds and a really useful sized gift box too!

Sessions take place every Tuesday, 10.30 - 12.30pm in Godmanchester.  The cost is £15 and includes all materials, tuition and light refreshments.  Classes are suitable for all level of crafters from absolute beginners to more advanced crafters.  Keep an eye on my facebook page for further details.

Coffee & Cards - Workshop

This month our workshop week will take place on Tuesday 19th November.  You can see further details above - this month there is a choice of colourways!

If you are unable to attend the regular morning session drop me a message as I may be able to offer either an afternoon or evening session for you.

For all classes and workshops please bring basic craft tools with you (bone folder, scissors, paper trimmer etc) if you have them and your preferred adhesives - I have limited supplies available for sale on the day if you forget or run out.

Classes take place at my home in Godmanchester unless otherwise stated.

Full payment is the only way to guarantee your place as regretfully, I have been let down in the past saving places for people who have not attended.

Sorry, no refunds unless I cancel the event. If for any reason you are unable to attend, I will do my best to find someone else to take your place but can't guarantee to do so. If not, your workshop kit will be available for collection after the event (kit will include basic supplies but no stamped images as per SU rules).

October saw me visiting the lovely ladies at Ellington WI on a dark and stormy night to make Christmas cards.

The ladies had a choice of two different Christmas projects.

Debby, one of my ducklings team members came along to lend a hand - you can just see her hiding in the top right of the photo above!

If you would like me to come along and craft with a group of friends just let me know and we can sort something out.

I love to share my love of crafting and, no one EVER fails to make something they are proud of!
