Craftyduckydoodah! October Updates
Hello and welcome to October! How can it be October already? There is a definite change of temperature here in Godmanchester, nippy mornings but lots of bright blue skies. The leaves are starting to change colour too - have I mentioned that this is my favourite time of the year before?
I have been busy doing a tidy up of my craft room - I have found all sorts of lost treasures. We will be using several of these items, think retired stamps, dies, DSP and even ink colours for my October Workshops (more details below).
As ever, there is a lot happening in the world of Stampin! Up! so here are all the details you need in one place.

New Kits
The Stampin' Up! Kits Collection includes designed projects that come in a range of project types. They are perfect for new crafters, busy crafters, or crafters who want quick and easy projects. You can see all the kits that are currently available HERE. There are lots to choose from and, two new kits will be announced again later this month!
Birthday Bonus!
October is my birthday month and, it is a BIG one this year!! If you attend a workshop or C & C session or, if you place an online order you will receive a raffle ticket with a chance to win a little something SU from me at the end of the month. For further tickets, share a project on my Share It Sunday post on facebook too!
Coffee & Cards
During September we made a start with our Christmas cards along with projects for other times of the year.
My favourites were these projects made using the Just A Note bundle. Lots of little pieces to put together and get creative with. My crafty ladies particularly liked creating the 'handbag' clip on the project on the right!
We will continue making more Christmas projects this month but we will still be making projects suitable for other times of the year too.
Sessions take place every Tuesday, 10.30 - 12.30pm in Godmanchester. The cost is £15 and includes all materials, tuition and light refreshments. Classes are suitable for all level of crafters from absolute beginners to more advanced crafters. Keep an eye on my facebook page for further details.
If there is a project you particularly want to create and you are unable to attend the regular morning session, drop me a message as I may be able to offer either an afternoon or evening session for you.
Workshops
A fabulous workshop last month with one attendee stating that it was her most favourite workshop to date! We used one of my favourite suites - Modern Christmas.
Everyone made one of these lovely decorations that could also be used as a rather posh gift tag!
Full payment is the only way to guarantee your place as regretfully, I have been let down in the past saving places for people who have not attended.
Godmanchester Town Show
The McCartney House ladies had a stall at our local town show on Saturday 6th September. Thank you to everyone who popped by the say hello.
I entered a project in the general crafting section and was pleased to be awarded second place.
If there is anything I can help you with, just let me know. If you have a special request for a particular project for either Coffee & Cards or a Workshop just let me know too and I will see what I can do.
Have a crafty October!
