Stampin' Up! Fabulous Flamingo - workshop treats!

Hello, if you have ever attended one of my Workshops you will know that I always like to have a little table gift as a thank you for attendees.  It could be something sweet or perhaps some ribbons or even, something completely different.

Last week I ran three Workshops using the Painted Harvest bundle but I decided to make something I haven't made for ages.

I have seen lots of ideas on Pinterest for all sorts of creations that use sweets for the legs of various animals decorating treat bags that reminded me of party favours I have made in the past.

I had a wander around my local supermarket and saw these; not seen them for years - I used to love these strawberry treats, so I bought some.

When I got home I sampled a few - just to see if they tasted the same (they do)! Then I started looking at all my stamp sets to find something that would suit red twirly legs.

It was obvious really, it had to be a Fabulous Flamingo didn't it?  Two of the images in the stamp were already legless ...

So I stamped and cut out a flock of flamingos.

I carefully measured (I kid you not) and removed 5cm from each leg.

A quick tag and some bakers twine were all I needed to finish off these little treats for my crafty ladies.

Here is the completed flock of flamingos - not sure what my crafty ducky thought of them!

All in all, three great sessions, great colour choices by everyone for their sunflowers and the Pavlova went down well too!

On Friday evening I was asked to do a Unicorn Workshop after some of the ladies had seen the card I made for my niece.  You can find details here.  There are just two places left so if you would like to join us please message me asap.
