Stampin' Up! Tranquil Tulips - stepped up

Hello, here are the details of our second C & C project for this week using Tranquil Tulips.

We stamped the tops of the tulips onto scrap card and cut out 'on the edge' and added them to the stamped tulip base with Dimensionals.

I'm not sure what these tiny little flowers are called (Grape Hyacinths perhaps?), but they are very useful for filling in gaps in the stamping - they have been stamped with Berry Burst.

I love the leaf and stem stamps in this set - the bent leaf is so tulipy!  You can also use both ends of the stamps to get different shapes and styles of leaves - useful for filling in the gaps at the bottom!

The addition of some Linen Thread that has been wrapped around the card adds a nice rustic touch.  The tiny bow proved to be optional - some of my crafty ladies don't do bows!
