Stampin' Up! Colour Revamp

Hello, as promised here are the details of the upcoming colour revamp.  I have had lots of questions from customers and team members alike so, hopefully you will find the answers you need below.

THE COLOURS ARE EVOLVING!

The spice of life is variety, and that's especially true in the world of colour.  Stampin' Up! makes a point to keep an eye on colour trends across different markets and industries.  When we see changes happening, we review our colour spectrum to ensure that we remain consistently on top of the trends.  This brings us to the 2018 Colour Revamp!

In order to keep bringing you the most current and on trend colours, we decided it was time to give our colour collections a makeover.

The new variety of shades will inspire creativity and allow you to explore more sides of your crafting.

THE DETAILS

There are still four colour collections, each with ten colours.  There is also a new colour group called Basics.

In order to keep our colour collections to exclusive Stampin' Up! colours, we moved Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Whisper White out of the Neutrals collection.  We've also moved a few colours into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colourful!

Some additional colours have changed collections as well - you'll notice this as you look through the new collections below.  These changes were based on needing to maintain colour balance in our updated collections.  For example, Poppy Parade is now the brightest red so it is part of the Bright's collection.

IN COLOURS
There are no changes to the In Colour Programme.  Every year we will continue to introduce five new In Colours that will be available for the ensuing two years.

Here are the new In Colours - can't wait to play with them!

We also have previous In Colours that are returning to our core colours.

  • Mossy Meadow
  • Poppy Parade
  • Flirty Flamingo
  • Coastal Cabana
  • Mint Macaron
  • Blackberry Bliss
I was delighted to find not one, or two but THREE unopened packs of Mint Macaron card stock yesterday!  I am using them today with the residents of the care home I visit.  Can you tell this was/is one of my favourites?  So pleased to see Mint Macaron and Coastal Cabana return!

NEW COLOURS
As I mentioned yesterday that several colours would be retiring you have been asking about the replacements.  Well, here they are - don't they look lovely?  I can't wait to try out the Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam.

NEW COLOUR COLLECTIONS

So, with all these new colours I can hear you asking 'what will the colour collections look like?'

NEW CLASSIC STAMPIN' PADS

In addition to the new colours we have also redesigned our ink pads.  The case is a new, more intuitive design and we've improved the formula of the ink as well!

RETIREMENT LIST

If you look on the Retirement List you will notice that all the current ink pads and reinkers are shown as retiring ... I had have several phone calls from worried team members about this.

The colours mentioned in yesterday's post are the only colours that are retiring!  All others are only on the Retirement List because of the redesign of the cases and the change of the ink formulation.  Stampin' Up! have guaranteed the availability of these ink pads and reinkers until the 7th May.  After that, they will only be available while stocks last.

So, if there is a retiring colour that you really like and need, please order through my on line store asap - don't forget to use the current Hostess Code to receive a free gift from me!

Phew, I hope all this makes sense - if not, let me know!  I'm always happy to help - if you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Thanks for reading my blog today, come back soon so you don't miss anything!

Happy crafting!

Susan xx
