Stampin' Up! Beautiful Day - stepped up

Hello, here are the details for the final project this week using Beautiful Day.

I struggled to find my second project this week - everything I wanted to do with this lovely butterfly involved heat embossing.  Unfortunately one of the coffee shops I use does not allow me to use the heat tool.  At the eleventh hour I picked up my most recent copy of Stampin' Success.  Its a really useful magazine that I receive each quarter as a demonstrator perk.  

There on page 14 I found my second project - thank you Stampin' Up! for coming to my rescue!  

My orignal card was coloured in with the Daffodil Delight and Pumkin Pie Stampin' Blends Duos.

We used the Simple Stripes TIEF to create a background, embossed onto a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  (I choose to use the debossed side).

As with the first project this week, I decided to use different colours ...

I also used some Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to the wings.

Here is the completed card - I used the Bermuda Bay and Pool Party Duos.

For the card above I found some retired Pool Party sparkly ribbon.

Here are both cards together - the more observant amongst you might just spot the difference between the two cards ...

Thanks to everyone who joined me this week.  Lots of WoS at our session this afternoon (you know who you are Louise) and lots of fabulous colouring and belnding. Next week for Coffee & Cards we will be using another new stamp set called Serene Garden.
