Stampin' Up! Tropical Chic - quick & simple

Hello, here are the details for our first project this week using Tropical Chic.

My crafty ladies this morning loved the colour combo - Granny Apple Green was a bit of a hit!

We started with the peek through die and a piece of 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm  Whisper White cardstock.  After cutting the panel we adhered a piece of Granny Apple Green behind using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.

Before adhering the panel, we stamped just one leaf below where the bottom corner of our panel was to be placed.  We then stamped an additional leaf and die cut.

The sentiment we used is one of those very useful ones - when you need more than a simple thank you, this one just works!

I was very nice to my crafty ladies this morning, I pre stamped and cut out all the flowers for them.  I think it might be the heat, normal service will be resumed shortly!

We placed a large jewel in the centre of the flower.  You could also add some Wink of Stella for a little more sparkle.

However, if pink flowers were not your thing you could use red, orange, pink or yellow inks.  Wouldn't Melon Mambo look fab?

Here is the completed card and envelope.  We used my favourite leaf in this set to decorate one end of the envelope and the inside of the card too.

I have two more C & C sessions this week, if you would like to join me, you can find the details here.

Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.
Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee (or a long, cool drink) soon.
