Stampin' Up! Varied Vases - quick & simple

Hello, here are details of our first C & C project for this week using Varied Vases.

The colours we are using this week are certainly not my usual choice of blues and greens but I am really enjoying craft with this combo.

For a change, I used one of the Narrow Note Cards and Envelopes.  I love small and dainty cards - I really should use these note cards more often.

I used some of the lovely DSP from the Share What You Love Suite - lovely soft muted colours that coordinate perfectly with the Petal Pink card stock.

I also used my most favourite dies (ever) - the Stitched Shape Framelits.  I use them so much that I have to make myself not use them if you see what I mean?

I love the variety you can create with these stamps - so many different combinations of vases and all sorts of creations.  I chose to use the orchid stamp for my vase; the tiny Artisan Pearls add just a touch of colour to the centre of the flowers.

Can you see the vellum leaves I placed behind the Stitched Shape?  They were  punched with the Leaf Punch.

Here is the completed card and envelope - I used a Stitched Framelit to line the envelope too.

I have two more C & C sessions this week, if you would like to join me, you can find the details here.

By the end of this week I will have a nice little set of these cards.  They will be going as a thank you gift to the lovely lady who gave the craftyducky a makeover!

Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.
Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee (or a long, cool drink) soon.

Susan xx
