Stampin' Up! Varied Vases - stepped up
Hello, goodness me what a scorcher it has been this week in the UK! Here are the details of the second project for this week using Varied Vases.
We used one of my favourite embossing folders to create a background - the Ruffled TIEF. So much texture and dimension and, it looks good no matter which side of the card you use - brilliant!
For this project we used the stamps in Varied Vases to add colour to the flowers.
These images are quite forgiving - if you miss and stamp slighty off, you can achieve an artistic look that still looks great!
The middle vase has pice of punched vellum over the top of the stamped image to soften it slightly.
I adjusted one of the vases by snipping part off so that I could complete my arrangement.
Here is the completed card and envelope and envelope.
Thanks to everyone who joined me this week. Next week in honour of all the hot weather we will be going tropical using a bundle called Tropical Chic - I had to do it didn't I?
I am hopping for the first time tomorrow with a lovely group of Demonstrators around the world called Global Stmaping Friends - I am so excited that I have finally been able to join in! I have a special project to share with you so make sure you don't miss it!
I have a busy, busy weekend; its Gala Day in Godmanchester and I have my wonderful Aunt visiting too.
