Stampin Up! Botanical Bliss - stepped up
Hello, here are the details for our final project this week using Botanical Bliss. My crafty ladies were surprised with my colour choice this week but I have to say I love Highland Heather and I'm sure I will be using it again sometime.
We used my favourite Stitched Shape Framelits and did some heat embossing this week - always impressive and, so pretty with this little image.
Top Tip
For fine and detailed images heat from underneath; this gives a smoother finish to the embossing.
We stamped two flowers (you can just about see them) and then assembled the card front. The Pear Pizazz leaf sprays have been cut in half and adhered behind the die cut flower. A trio of jewels added the finishing touch.
We used some of the Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon along the lower part of the card to fill in some of the white space.
To decorate the inside of the card and the envelope we used the lovely leaf border stamp.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
The most popular version of our first project this week was the white one!
A coupld of my crafty ladies could not make a Coffee & Cards this week due to the Bank Holiday. I have been persuaded to offer a catch up session on Monday evening - I will add an event to my facebook page. Places are limited so if you would like to join me please let me know asap.
Thanks to everyone who joined me this week for some crafty fun. Next week we will be using a stamp set called Follow Your Dreams - I will post details over the weekend.
Hope you have a crafty weekend.
