Daisy Lane - quick & simple
Hello, here are the details for our first project this week using the fabulous Daisy Lane stamp and punch bundle.
We embossed a piece of Pretty Peacock card with the Corrugated embossing folder and adhered across the front of the note card using Tombow.
We used one of my favourite Stitched Rectangle dies and stamped a sentiment (Itty Bitty Birthdays) in Pretty Peacock ink.
A partial inking technique was used for our daisies this week. A sponge dauber was used to pick up Pretty Peacock ink and then used to ink up the centre of the stamp.
We stamped and punched out two flowers, curled and shaped the petals before adhering together with Tombow.
For a different look you can also use any ink left on the Sponge Dauber to add some colour to the ends of the petals.
The leaves are from a stamp set called Painted Harvest and they were punched out with the Leaf Punch.
The leaves were curled and shaped then tucked under the petals using a dab of Tombow on the end of the stems.
Here is the finished card - a sparkly jewel in the centre of the flower provided a lovely finishing touch.
Two daisies have been stamped onto the reverse of the envelope and the inside of the card.
Although these stamps are not photopolmyer (clear) with care, it is possible to slightly offset each image - sometimes better than others!
Here is the completed card - such a pretty design and, it would look great in lots of colours.
