The Gang's All Meer - stepped up

Here are the details for our second project this week using a stamp set called The Gang's All Meer.

To recreate the Gang's All Meer card you will need:
Call Me Clover card base - 29 cm x 10. 5 cm - scored at 14.5 cm.
Basic Black 10 x 14 xm, adhered with Tombow.
Thick ww thick 9.5 x 13.5 cm.
Insert ww 10 x 14 cm.

I used Memento ink to stamp the images and coloured with the Stampin' Blends.

I used a Journaling Pen to extend the horizon line between the stamped images and added a few dots too.

I stamped some of the geckos around the edge of the card and coloured with  Stampin' Blends.  Using the Journaling Pen, I created a squiggly border to join all the geckos and create a frame for the panel.  

Not all of my crafty ladies were ok with the squiggle/wonky border - some used a ruler to draw perfectly straight lines!

To add the impression of some sky I used the brush end of a  Pool Party Light Stampin' Blend and swiped over it with the Blender Pen to soften the edge.  The panel was then adhered to the card with dimensionals.

A piece of ww card 5 mm smaller than the base was added to the inside along with some stamped and coloured images.

Here is the completed card and envelope.
