Tag Buffet - quick & simple

Here are three of the cards I made:

I love these big, bold colourful images!

The colours I used:

A very Christmassy collection of colours taken from the Tag Buffet Project Kit.

You will need:

21 cm x 14.5 cm card - scored at 10.5 cm

10.5 cm x 14 cm ww - insert

To assemble:

To convert the tags into cards I cut some card bases from Real Red, Garden Green and Shaded Spruce cardstock.

I assembled the tags as per the instructions in the project kit tying a bow instead of a knot at the top of the tag.  I also knotted the ends of the gold thread to form little tassels.  The bows have been adhered with mini glue dots.

I used Stampin' Seal to adhere the two tags together, offsetting slightly at an angle and then adhered to the card base with Tombow.

The inside:

I used a combination of the images and sentiments from the Tag Buffet stamp set to decorate the inserts stamping in coordinating ink colours.  Inserts have been adhered with double sided tape.

The completed projects:

I also stamped on the envelope flaps too.

In no time at all I have a nice stack of  cards plus a lovely gift box too. I confess the only tag images I am not keen on are the ones showing a Cardinal (I think).  However I will use the components to create an alternate tag - perhaps one with a die cut poinsettia on (still not had a chance to use those dies yet)!!

The Tag Buffet Project kit is quick and easy to assemble and would be great to put together with children or grandchildren wouldn't it?

I used the items in the kit but you could also add jewels and/or glitter for even more Christmassy sparkle!

Special Offer - only available from me!

Purchase the Tag Buffet Project Kit and the Tag Buffet stamp set and I will send you 6 coordinating cards (2 each of the 3 colours shown above), inserts and envelopes as a thank you from me.  Items can be ordered through my online store or directly from me.

I will be back later this week with another project that used the Tag Buffet stamp set.

Happy crafting.
