Christmas Pick & Mix Craft Day

Hello, I'm so excited to let you know that the beautiful church hall we used for our Pick & Mix craft day way back in February is now Covid secure and open for bookings again!  It seems absolutely ages since we were able to get together and craft doesn't it?  So I have taken the plunge and booked the hall for another all day craft event.  All current guidelines will be adhered to; it certainly helps having my very own in house Environmental Health Officer around to answer all my questions!

So, here are all the details for my Pick & Mix Craft Day that's taking place on Saturday 7th November by the riverside at the beautiful All Saints' Church, Hartford (Huntingdon).

Join me for a full day of crafting where you can pick which projects you want to make.  Make a single project or as many as you can fit in, lots to choose from - the choice is yours!

£15 entry fee payable in advance and includes lunch (choice of sandwich, savouries, mince pie and cake)  Due to current restrictions you will need to bring your own drinks and cutlery. Please note that there are only 13 places available!

Everyone will receive a ticket for a prize draw, there will be a raffle and, you will receive a little something extra from me.

Doors open at 10am with lunch available from 12.  Our day will end at 4pm.  For directions to the Church, please click HERE.

Everyone is welcome to join us including children, you don't need to be an expert crafter; projects are suitable for beginners with a little guidance.

Really important!

For the safety and comfort of everyone attending, on entering the building everyone will need to wear a face mask. Everyone will have their own socially distanced table to work at so whilst you are sitting at your table no face mask will be necessary.  When moving around, everyone will be required to wear a face mask.  If this is an issue for you, please get in touch to discuss asap.  Please bring hand gel with you and use on entering the building and before/after touching shared equipment.  Die cutting machines and stamp blocks etc to be cleaned after use using the wipes provided.  

Choice of projects

I don't think I have created so many project as quickly as this for a long, long time.  As soon as I heard the Church Hall was available I got straight to it.

Projects will feature either the Snowflake Splendour or Poinsettia Place Suites so something for those who prefer either a traditional or more modern Christmas theme.

There will be samples of all projects for you to look at and I will provide basic instructions but if you need more assistance I am happy to help.  Of course you are more than welcome to go 'off piste' so feel free to bring any additional crafting supplies you might like to use.  I will have a selection of sentiment stamps for you to choose from too.

Snowflake Wishes - Option 1 £79

Snowflake Wishes Wreath - £35

Supplies to create a beautiful decorative wreath that can be wall hung or used as a table centrepiece with candles in the middle perhaps.  The wreath is approximately 28cm diameter.

You will be sponge painting the wreath with a white ceramic effect paint and then adding colour with ink and decorating with snow effect and glitter.

Kit includes battery Lights (bright white), 4 Sheets cardstock (choose from Balmy Blue, Seaside Spray, Night of Navy or Misty Moonlight).  Please advise colour choice at time of booking.

Christmas Countdown - £30

This kit was very popular last and is a joy to put together, achievable for children and absolute beginners as well as more advanced crafters. I was so pleased it is available again this year!  Includes use of stamps and inks on the day.

Tag Buffet - £30

Kit makes 30 tags, 5 each of 6 designs and includes a lovely box to keep them in or use as a gift box (with a tag of course)!  Includes use of stamps and inks on the day.

Ordering Bonus

Place an order on the day and you will receive a credit for 10% of the order value to use on your next order before the end of 2020.

What to bring with you
You will need a basic tool kit of scissors, poky tool and bone folder and a paper trimmer.  You will also need to bring your preferred adhesives (pva glue, 3d foam pads etc).  I will have a small supply of adhesives available for sale on the day just in case you forget or run out!  

Bring A Friend
Bring a friend with you who has not crafted with me before and you will both receive a little gift from me from my lucky dip box.  Just let me know when you book.

Important Stuff
Reserve your place for £15 as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.   Kits must be paid for in advance too so that I can order them in plenty of time to make sure they arrive for you. Deadline for kit orders is the 10th October.  Full payment must be made no later than 26th October.

If you wish to make a project in a different colour please let me know no later than the 31st October, after this I date I will do my best to accommodate your preferences but can't promise as I will be busy prepping for the event.

Please note I have a limited supply of each wreath so please let me know as soon as possible which projects you want to complete and colour choice where applicable.

Any spare kits will be available on the day if you decide you want to add to your projects!

If you have any dietary requirements please let me know at the time of booking.  Food will be provided by Pinnies Cafe who catered our last event.  I will contact you nearer the time to discuss sandwich options/dietary requirements.

I will be ordering supplies for this event at the of October so please ensure you contact me before then with your preferences.

I'm looking forward to spending a full day crafting with lots of lovely crafty people in the beautiful hall at the back of the Church.  If you fancy, and weather permitting, you may even choose to take the time for a stroll by the river to feed the ducks!

If you are unable to join us on the day but would like to do some of the projects please let me know and we can discuss a kit for you to work on at home.
