Craftyduckydoodah Review of 2020 - part 1
Hello and welcome to part one of my review of 2020. I have been doing these review posts for a couple of years now and find it useful to look back and remember what I have been up to. Originally I intended to do just one post but in true Craftyducky style, more is best!
January saw the start of Sale-A-Bration (SAB) with lots of free goodies with every £45 order. This particular stamp set proved very popular - who does't love a cheeky meerkat or two?The good news is, its almost time for SAB 2021! If you haven't got copies of the new Spring/Summer and Sale-A-Bration brochures let me know - there are so, so many beautiful new products launching on the 5th of January.
February Birthday Bonanza! I loved making these two projects; I loved the colours in the DSP and the characters made it so easy to create cute cards for young and old alike.
Good company, lots of crafty project options and an amazing lunch made for a perfect day!
Lots of different projects on offer (hence the name), this little wreath decoration was the most popular!
March
Well, what can I say about March? It started off ok and then the world turned to chaos with the arrival of Covid-19.
I was delighted to be approached by a lady who was writing an article for a French craft magazine who had seen this project. Of course I gave her permission to share my work!
March saw what was to be my last in person workshop of 2020. This workshop was so popular that I ran it 3 times before the UK went into lockdown. I even have two ladies who are still waiting for their workshop to take place!
March was also the last time this year that I was able to hold a craft session at a local care home. I certainly miss all the lovely residents but fear it will be some time still before we can craft together again.
And finally, at long last I was able to find a replacement for my pink craftyducky. The poor thing was slightly faded on one side after I left her in the conservatory and then to add insult to injury, she had an accident with her crown! I was so relieved to find another!
Well, that's it for the first quarter of 2020, I'll be back with part two very soon!
I hope you have the best Christmas possible wherever you are in the world and that you stay safe and well.
I will be back on the 28th with a cute project for the final Stampers Showcase blog hop of 2020.
