Craftyduckydoodah Review of 2020 - part 2

Hello, and welcome to part 2 of my review of 2020!  Since March I had been running Godmanchester Community Timebank, organising hundreds of volunteers to provide assistance for the elderly and vulnerable in our town.  I was working 7 days a week and often up to 10 hours a day but even then, I still managed to find some time to craft!

April saw me using a stamp set called Beautiful Moments - a lot!

Purple is not a colour I used very often for some reason.  I loved the simplistic design of the images in this stamp set and, they are just perfect for lots of colouring techniques.  The card below was water coloured with an Aqua Painter and inks.

This card, created for a Stampers Showcase blog hop has been coloured with our fabulous Stampin' Blends pens.

This final project is perhaps my favourite although it was the easiest to produce!  I coloured the image with a Stampin' Chalk Marker pen.  The white ink on the craft background looks so effective doesn't it?

May is always a busy month at Craftyducky HQ.  Both my children celebrate their birthdays this month.  My daughter always asks me to make a special card for her.  This years was a particular favourite of hers as she is still saving up for a a Mustang of her own!

May also saw the release of a new suite of products call the Ornate Garden Suite ahead of the Annual Catalogue in June.

During May I needed a project in a hurry for a Kre8tors Blog Hop.  I came up with this simple but effective design that I love.  Lots of white space and very quick and simple to make.  It was also one of my most popular blog posts this year!

June
What a hectic month what with the launch of the new Annual Catalogue and, unfortunately, no launch event.  One stamp and punch bundle particularly appealed to me as I do love a good pun!  The Whale of a Time suite had me creating a project for a Stampers Showcase blog hop that was my top performing post of 2020 - whale done me!!

Craftyduckydoodah, Stammpin' Up, Review of 2020 Part 2,

June saw the introduction of my first class in a box kit which proved very popular and I was so greatful for everyone's continued support of my crafty business.

June was also a very sad month at Craftyducky HQ.  My beloved cat Felix became so ill that we had to have him put to sleep.  He was a firm favourite with lots of the ladies who crafted at my home.  Felix was always happy to say hello and investigate what we were doing.

He loved to launch himself onto my desk as a surprise and often had inky paws and pieces of dimensionals stuck to his fur!

Well that's it for Part 2, I will be back soon with Part 3.  I am back tomorrow to share a project I made for the latest Stampers Showcase blog hop using items from the upcoming Spring / Summer catalogue.

Crafty hugs!

Susan xx
