Sweet Strawberry - take three!
Hello, some time ago I shared a card using the Sweet Strawberry stamp and punch bundle for an Ink Stamp Share blog hop that proved to be very popular. You can see my original project HERE along with details of how I created the juicy strawberries and the card dimensions etc.
Heat embossing the strawberries makes them look so juicy, almost good enough to eat!
At the time I got a bit carried aways and created several juicy strawberries so I thought it was about time I did something with them!
I have three projects to share with you today; each one stepped up from the last.
The colours I used:
Here is the first project:
What's better than one strawberry? Why two of course! Created in the same way as my original project just with an extra strawberry.
Here is the second project:
This project steps things up a little with a stamped background. I used Memento ink and coloured the leaves with the Granny Apple Green blends. I also added a touch of Daffodil Delight in the centre of the flowers.
This is a very useful little image that gives a prefect background to the strawberry.
Here is the third and final project:
For this project I used one of the Blending Brushes with Granny Apple Green ink to add some shading in the corner; it really makes the colours of the strawberry pop. I used some resin dots for the centre of the flowers which have been stamped with Calypso Coral ink.
All of my projects have a piece of DSP adhered to the inside and along the envelope flap for a coordinated look.
I have to say this is my favourite of the four cards I made usingh Sweet Strawberry. I love how you can grow (sorry about the pun) and develop projects as you go along; starting simply and then stepping up each time.
Thank you so much for looking at my Blog today, if you don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and you live in the UK, I would love to be yours!
