Craftyduckydoodah! July Updates
Hello and welcome to July! Boy has it been ever so warm here in the UK - locally we triggered not one but two official heatwaves last month! At Coffee & Cards this week it was a good job we only had a couple of sentiments to stamp as the ink pads we were using obviously thought it was too hot to craft!
There is so much happening in the world of Stampin' Up! right now so, here are all the details you need in one place.

Online Exclusives
Tuesday 1st July saw the latest launch of brand new Online Exclusives; items that you won't find in any catalogue (as the name suggest they can be found online only)!
There are Autumnal products, Halloween and everyday products, and dare I say there are even a few Christmas related items!
One item I had to have immediately was the Long Time No See stamp set which could well be making an appearance at my annual Christmas In July Coffee & Cards class which this year is being held on Tuesday 22nd July.
Coffee & Cards
During June we made some stunning projects using Coneflower Celebrations which were so bright and cheerful using some of the Stampin' Blends in the new In-Colours.
However, my favourite project last month was one of the projects we made using items from the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite, those of you who know me will know that I love lots of white space on projects! The more observant amongst you might also spot that there is a guest appearance on this project from my all time favourite stamp set - Gorgeous Grunge!
Sessions take place every Tuesday, 10.30 - 12.30pm in Godmanchester. The cost is £15 and includes all materials, tuition and light refreshments. Classes are suitable for all level of crafters from absolute beginners to more advanced crafters. Keep an eye on my facebook page for further details.
Workshops
Our workshop projects for June used the splendid Celebratory Sips Suite and the projects proved to be very popular. These are just a few if the projects we made, the square cards at the front conceal an origami explosion fold!
This month we will be using the Kintsugi Inspirations Suite for our projects
Projects are a work in progress but one project will definitely feature this little girl wearing a Kimono thanks to a fabulous idea shared by my lovely upline Liz.I will share details shortly over on my facebook page.
Time: 10:30 - 1pm
Cost: £38 and includes a full pack of the above DSP (£16)
or
Date: Tuesday 29th July (this is a repeat of the morning workshop)
Time: 7pm - 9:30pm
Full payment is the only way to guarantee your place as regretfully, I have been let down in the past saving places for people who have not attended.
McCartney House Ladies
The ladies have been doing a 'stock take' of all the items they have ready for an appearance at the Godmanchester Town Show. We will be busy in the coming weeks making note books and post it note holders and planning for the event too.
One of the projects we made last month was the card shown below following a request from one of the ladies. Each month we use a variety of techniques and often make the same or similar projects to those made at Coffee & Cards sessions.
Ducklings Team Members
July is a 'pending month! So, if you are a member of Team Ducklings and have had an email from SU you know what you need to do. Happy to discuss options with anyone, just let me know. As always, I'm happy to help you get the best out of you demonstratorship whether you are a hobby crafter or interested in building a small business.
June also saw one of our Ducklings Team regular visits to The Welcome in St Ives. We had a fabulous time and it was nice to catch up properly over a fabulous meal.
If there is anything I can help you with, just let me know. If you have a special request for a particular project for either Coffee & Cards or a Workshop just let me know.
Have a crafty July!
Susan xx
