Happy Scenes - take two!
Hello, I have been joined recently by some lovely new crafty ladies at my Coffee & Cards sessions. I thought it would be a good idea to show you that sometimes things do go wrong BUT there is usually a way to fix things!
Last week we were using Happy Scenes to create a card for Christmas and the two new ladies both 'miss stamped' their trees! There was a slight look of panic in the room so I swapped their card for a new one and they happily stamped again and all was well.
I carried on crafting with their 'miss stamped' images, (not wanting to waste card stock) and to show that most things can be fixed too.
I cleaned the stamp and inked up again with Pool Party ink stamping the trees over the black ones, slightly to one side.
After inking the background and finishing the card, this is how it turned out:
Not too bad even if I do say so myself! As crafters, we all have 'off days' - most things can be fixed; sometimes projects end up improved (a 'happy accident') and sometimes, (not very often) a piece of card ends up in the bin or salvaged for use on another project.
If you would like to join me on either a Monday or Tuesday afternoon for Coffee & Cards, please contact me for further details.
Weekly Deals have been updated this morning, don't forget to check each week to see what is on offer!
Thanks so much for looking at my Blog today, I hope you enjoyed my project; if you need any of the products to create it – I would love to be your demonstrator! Simply use my “shop with me” button or click on the catalogue links on the right. Alternatively, contact me and I would be happy to place your order for you.
All orders over £20 (excluding postage) will receive a little thank you from me if you use the current Hostess Code: 7MMUGX97 (please remember to allow me to access your contact details). For orders over £150 please do not use the Hostess Code to ensure that you receive the benefits.
