Stampin' Up! Everyday Hero - quick and simple

Hello, how much fun is this stamp set?  I have had Everyday Hero sat on my windowsill for many weeks now.  I only reached for it when I was asked to come up with a project for Coffee & Cards that would be suitable/appealing to children so it was an obvious choice really wasn't it?

The images in this set really called for some bright, primary colours in the best superhero fashion.  I made my sample card in red and then thought it might look nice in a bright turquoise colour.  I shared the image below on my facebook page - as things stand as I am writing this post - the reds are winning ...

Stampin' Up! UK Independent Demonstrator Susan Simpson, Craftyduckydoodah!, Everyday Hero, Supplies available 24/7,

I decided to use Smoky Slate for the skyline images as it looks 'softer' than black - it does make a nice change too!  We used the Pro Markers to colour in the capes as they produce a strong and vibrant colour.

Here is the completed card, if you would like to join me to make one of these in your choice of a red or turquoise colourway and another project, I have sessions available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons this week.  You can find the details here.
