Stampin' Up Colourful Seasons - even more leaves!

Hello, I promised last week that I would share the details of what I did with all the lovely leaves I had leftover after the Stamper's by the Dozen blog hop project using the Colourful Seasons bundle.  So, here is what I did ...

I have had this wicker wreath in my craftroom for quite some time - I was waiting for some inspiration to strike which, thankfully, it did!

I spent ages laying the leaves on the wreath this way and that way, changing them around until I was happy.  I then used lots of mini glue dots to attach the leaves.

I added some of the lovely Old Olive Stitched Edge Ribbon - this whisper white ribbon with coloured stitching on both edges just added a little something extra without detracting for the colourful leaves.

Here is the finished wreath.

I sat looking at the wreath and was really pleased with it but could not help thinking it need a little something extra.

So I thought I would add some of the lovely copper foil leaves that I used on my project for the blog hope (you can see it here).

The wreath is now hanging proudly in my craftroom - I will not be parting with it!

I did mention that I had been carried away making these leaves didn't I?  Well, even after my hop project and decorating this wreath, I still had some left!  So, I used the remaining leaves for my September customer thank you cards.  I will share details shortly.

Everyone who has received one so far this month have loved them and I have been persuaded to offer these projects for a Workshop in October.  We will be recreating this wreath, my blog hop project and customer thank you cards.  If you would like to come along, keep an eye on my facebook page for details as I am sure that places will fill up quickly.

Thanks for looking at my blog, come back soon so you don't miss anything!

You can find details of how I created the leaves and the products I used here.

Happy crafting!

Susan xx
