Stampin' Up! Magical Day - quick & simple
Hello, here are the details for our first project this week using Magical Day.
The Magician is this set is lovely to stamp and there is a matching die too so, no fussy cutting! We used the Stampin' Blends to colour him in.
I used the 1/2" circle punch and some of the Myths & Magic Glimmer paper to create a crystal ball. I stamped some stars above but it was only when I came to edit this photo that I realised they weren't straight!
I love the sentiments in this set but particularly like the fonts that have been used. Note to self - practice copying this style of writing. There is a die that cuts a banner shape in this bundle but I used the Tripple Banner punch instead - I wanted wonky ends!
The addition of some of the Myths & Magic Speciality Washi Tape behind the sentiment adds some extra sparkle.
We also used the Washi Tape on the inside of the card and the envelope.
Personally, I think the stars look much better when they are straight don't you?
Here is is the completed card and envelope.
All my crafty ladies loved this Magician this morning, colouring is so relaxing. There are two further C & C sessions this week if you would like to join me to make this project and another with a Mermaid - you can find the details here,
I made an alternative version of this card this afternoon too - one of my regular crafty ladies needed a couple of cards for special birthday. We coloured the Magician with the Pool Party Stampin' Blends and he looked amazing. I can't show the completed card but here is a sneaky peak.
Details of the products I used for this project can be found below. I will be post details of the another project using Magical Day later this week so come back soon so you don't miss anything!
Hope you can join me for a crafty coffee soon!
