Stampin' Up! - Sure Do Love You
Hello, just a quick post from me today sharing a project made with a bundle called Sure Do Love You.
If you are a regular reader of my blog (thank you) you may know that I do a weekly craft session at a local care home. Last week the ladies asked if we could do a Valentine project, so we did.
Our crafty sessions only lasts an hour so projects need to be quick and fairly simple but, I usually try to involve the Big Shot in some way as the ladies are really good at turning the handle now. In fact, some of them are so good that I have to catch the plates at the other end!
The ladies like a bit of sparkle so I decided to use the gorgeous Painted With Love Speciality DSP as it has gold foil accents.
I picked up on the colours in the DSP so that everything would coordinate nicely.
We cut a heart from some of the stunning paper and placed it the middle of the stamped heart wreath at a jaunty angle.
The sentiment has been stamped onto Powder Pink card with Rich Razzleberry ink and punched out using the Classic Label Punch.
Here is the finished card.
This week for the very first time, three of the ladies went off piste - I am so proud of them all! Zena has always insisted that she is not artistic but, she will not be able to use that line again after today!
We were joined by two new residents this morning who were a little camera shy but they both did a great job too.
Looking forward to our crafty session next week - I have lots of exciting projects in the pipeline ...
