Stampin' Up! Butterfly Basics - stepped up

Hello, here are the details of our second project this week using Butterfly Basics.

The inspiration for this particular project came from a card I made around three years ago - I tweaked it a little and completely changed the style (by scuffing the edges of the Very Vanilla card) and the colours.

The delicate die cut butterfly has a scrap of lace tied into a knot underneath the tiny stamped circle.

I have also wrapped a piece of lace around the base of the card.  The sentiment used is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments.

This delicate lace trim is a lovely way to give a vintage feel to a project but, if you like you can change the colour of the lace using a Stampin' Blend.

I used some tiny pearls to accent a stamped and punched butterfly.

Unfortunately the Bitty Butterfly punch is now discontinued but it would be quite easy to fussy cut.

The inside has a Very Vanilla layer added so that you can be written on - the edges have been scuffed and some stamping added so that everything coordinates.

The envelope has been stamped too.

Whilst working on sample projects for this week I made another version of this card in a slightly different colour way which I will share with you tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who joined me this week - I have loved seeing all the different variations that everyone came up with.  Here are some of the cards made on Tuesday.
