Stampin' Up! - treats for Easter!
Hello, a couple of weeks ago I ordered some sweets from Amazon in the shape of carrotts - a great big bag of them!
So I obviously I had to think of something to do with them didn't I? So I put my thinking cap on and had a look at my stamp sets to see what I could come up with. I had used the Lots to Love Thinlits Dies recently to make a little box with a magnetic closure but I hadn't got any magnets left. Then, I saw a tutorial that featured a very clever idea using a die in the Lots to Love set I was off!
The two little dies above (bottom left) were a bit of a mystery to me when I first saw them. Then I discovered that they were meant to be used to create the slots to hold a gift card - genius!
I used a retired stamp and die set from last year to create the rabbits and the carrots along with some retired DSP. I am on a personal mission to use up some of my stash before I move.
Here are the finished boxes - they are very quick to make. I popped some carrots into one of the Stampin' Up! treat bags and I was done.
Everyone who crafts with me this week will be receiving one of these little treats as a thank you from me - don't forget to let me know you are coming!
Thanks to Liz Shannon for the fabulous idea for the closure on the box - love it!
I will post details of the products I used for this project and a quick tutorial tomorrow.
Happy crafting!

Would you like to receive a FREE gift from me? All orders placed directly with me or online receive a handmade card from me as a thank you but did you know that all orders over £20 (excluding postage) will receive a gift from me too? If you use the current Hostess Code: YSGDYDPQ I will pop something in with your order or post directly to you, (please remember to allow me to access your contact details otherwise I won't be able to contact you).
For orders over £150 please do not use the Hostess Code to ensure that you receive the benefits - you will still receive a gift from me too!
