Stampin' Up! Painted Harvest - Re Do Challenge
Hello, at the beginning of August in my monthly update I mentioned a card re do challenge.
Following on from a recent blog post (you can see it here) where I took part in a card re do challenge I have had lots of people asking if they can join in too. So, I challenge you to re do a card you have made in the past and share both the original and the re do card on my craftyducky facebook page. Please only use Stampin' Up! products (current or retired) for the re do card. Entry is open to anyone/anywhere - there will be a prize for the most popular project but unfortunately I can only send a prize to someone in the UK as per Stampin' Up! regulations. Entry is open until Friday September 7th and you can enter as many times as you like! The winner will be announced this weekend.
Here is my original C & C project. The more observant amongst you might also notice that I have changed the watermark on my photos recently too!
Nothing wrong with this project at all - it was very popular with my crafty ladies.
However, I decided that there was a little change that I could make to take this project to the next level. I used the leaf stamp with Grapfruit Grove ink to create a background.
I also used the same stamp on the inside of the card to create a coordinating border.
Here is the completed card and envelope.
Just a simple change and this project looks quite different. One of the things I love most about Stampin' Up! is the coordination of all the products; I love the fact that the all the inks have matching cardstock - not to mention all the other goodies!
A couple of my crafty ladies have joined in with this challenge.
This card has been made by Lesley - it is a re do of the very first card she made with me!
This is Val's card - its a re do of a Coffee & Cards project from a few weeks ago.
I hope you enjoy this challenge as much as I did.
Details of the products I used for this project can be found at the bottom of my earlier post here).
Happy crafting and good luck everyone!
