Stampin' Up! Sheltreing Tree - stepped up

Hello, here are the details for our second project this week using a stamp set called Sheltering Tree.  My crafty ladies have enjoyed learning about the different 'spotlight' techniques and have gone home with lots of ideas of how they can use it for future projects.

We started by stamping the bare tree on a piece of card and then added the foliage.

The foliage stamp has been inked up with Crushed Curry.  I used sponge daubers to add extra colour with Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze.

Each time you use this technique you end up with a different result as my crafty ladies discovered this week!

The texture on the stamped foliage looks very dimensional - almost as if it is pixelated ...

The inside has been stamped to match too.

Thanks to everyone who joined me this week for some crafty fun.  Here are some of the lovely cards that were made today; not sure if they constitute a forest or a wood but they look very colourful!

I will share details of the projects for next week over the weekend - we will be using a stamp set called Wishing You Well.

I am hopping again tomorrow and Saturday; come back soon and see what I have been up to!

Hope you have a crafty weekend.
