Stampin' Up! Festive Farmhouse - quick & simple

Hello, here are the details for our first project this week using items from the Festive Farmhouse Suite.  I also have some exciting news for you at the end of the post that you won't want to miss!

We used some of the fabulous Festive Farmhouse DSP as a background for our card - I love the rustic squares and the wood grain patterns.  It was layered onto a piece of Cherry Cobbler card.

We used my new favourite Corrugated TIEF and wrapped some Very Vanilla Baker's Twine around it.

If you craft with me (or follow my blog) you will know that I love the Stitched Shape Framelits and I use them ever such a lot.  Imagine my delight when I discovered that there a framelit in this set that had a stitched edge too!

When I made my sample of this project I stamped the sentiment on the circle in Cherry Cobbler but this morning I changed it to Black Memento ink so that it was easier to read.

The inside of the card (and the envelope) was decorated with a leftover strip of DSP.  The simple addition of this strip of DSP transforms this card and brings everything together.

Here is the completed card and envelope.
