Stampin' Up! Very Vintage - stepped up

Hello, here are the details for our final Coffee & Cards project for 2018 using a lovely stamp set called Very Vintage.

Craftyduckydoodah!, Stampin' Up! UK Independent Demonstrator Susan Simpson, Supplies available 24/7 from my online store, Very Vintage,

This project started with a card base made with Night of Navy, we then used the lovely floral stamp to decorate a panel of Whisper White.  The main image in the centre has been stamped at full strength - the images around the side were 'stamped off' first.

The edges of the front panel have been inked using Night of Navy using a piece of sponge.  We also inked the edges of the inside panel and the envelope too - who says envelopes have to be white?

This lovely sentiment, (wish my handwriting looked like this) has been cut out using the Layering Circles Framelits - the edges have also been inked.  We also stamped just the corners of the main image to fill in some of the white space.  I cut a slightly larger scalloped circle with Night of Navy and layered it up.

We also coloured the reverse of one of the Pearlized Doiles, again using Night of Navy ink and the sponge.  We then cut it in half and adhered with Tombow.  I did try to colour the pearlised side of the doilie but unfortunately it did not take the ink very well.

We stamped a trio of tiny bees onto scrap card and then fussy cut them out.  They have been adhered to the card using mini dimensionals.

The wings of each bee had a little Wink of Stella painted on them for a bit of sparkle.

Here is the completed card and envelope.

For our last session I was delighted to be joined by current and former team members - there were bacon butties all around and we might just have had cake too!  It was especially lovely to have Bev craft with us again after a long absence due to an injury to her wrist.

Thanks to everyone who has joined me this week for the final projects of 2018.  I am busy working on new projects to share with you next year using brand new goodies from the upcoming Spring / Summer and Sale-A-Bration catalogues.

I will be posting copies out to all  my customers before the end of the year - if you don't already have a Demonstrator I would love to be yours.  Just let me know if you would like me to post copies to you too!

Coffee & Cards sessions will return in 2019 - I will send out details with my January Newsletter and add events on my Craftyducky facebook page soon (ish)!

Wishing all my team of ducklings and crafty ladies a wonderful Christmas and a very happy (and crafty) 2019!

Susan xx
