All That You Are - quick & simple

Hello, and welcome to the very first Coffee & Cards project of 2019 using a new stamp set called All That You Are.  I really enjoyed my morning back at Field Lodge yesterday, followed by my first bacon baguette and Coffee & Cards session of the year; it was a lovely way start to my crafty year!

All That You Are is a stamp set that you could very easily overlook which would be a shame as it has so much potential.  These lovely line art images would be perfect for colouring using a variety of mediums.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the inspiration for this project came from the Spring / Summer catalogue.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the inspiration for this project came from the Spring / Summer catalogue.

The projects we made are my version of the one on the left.

We used a Whisper White notecard and stamped the largest image randomly over the front of the card to create a background.

We then stamped flowers onto coloured card and cut out with the framelits from Frosted Bouquet.  Yes, they do coordinate - SU are so clever!

The foliage was also cut with the same Framelits.

Read the information in the catalogue - I would never have guessed that the framelits from Frosted Bouquet would coordinate with All That You Are, would you?

We then stamped our sentiment using Night of Navy ink on a 2" strip of card before punching one end with the Triple Banner punch.

We added a strip of Vellum to the card front and then adhered the sentiment on top with Dimensionals.

The flowers and leaves were then arranged on top using either Tombow or Dimensionals to create a pretty, layered look.

My favourite part of this card is the Baker's Twine tassel with the frayed ends - something a little different.

We stamped on the flap of the envelope instead of the front just for a change.

Here is the completed card and envelope - so pretty and, wouldn't a few of these in a package make a lovely gift for someone?

It was lovely to get back to C & C sessions yesterday and catch up with everybody.  After making the first project this week I offered my crafty ladies the opportunity to play - they did not let me down!!

Here are some of the marvellous variations they made.

I particularly liked the version Manita made using just Grapefruit Grove and Whisper White.  All it needs as a finishing touch is a bow made with Grapefruit Grove Baker's Twine which I have just done for her.  I will have it with me next week (hopefully I will remember)!

Next week we will be using items from the Classic Garage Suite, making cards for men.

I will be taking part in my first ever Tic Tac Toe challenge tomorrow also using Classic Garage.  It was such fun, if you have never tried it you should!

Have a crafty weekend.
