Vibrant Vases - Quick & Simple

Here are the details for the first project this week using a stamp set called Vibrant Vases.

Projects this week are available in a choice of five colours - the most popular choice this morning was Highland Heather.  This is a lovely quick and simple project and, changing the colour makes a big difference to the feel of the finished project.

A piece of Designer Series Paper was adhered across the front of the card with Tombow and then run through the Big Shot with the Ruffled Dynamic embossing folder to create our background.  I love the effect of this folder on the DSP.

We then added some ribbon to the panel, adhering on the back with double sided tape.  The panel was adhered to the card front with Dimensionals.

The depth and dimension this folder gives is much better in real life, such an amazing effect from something so simple.

We used the Well Written Framelits dies for the sentiment which has been cut from Calypso Coral card.

We used Smoky Slate ink to stamp the vase and Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz for the flowers and leaves.

The vase and flowers are made with two stamps; one for the outline and the other to fill in the image.  These clever stamps add texture and dimension - how brilliant is that?

We used the coordinating punch for the vase but the flowers had to be fussy cut - sorry ladies!

A tiny bow and some jewels provided the finishing touches.

The inside of the card (and the envelope) have been stamped to coordinate.
