Butterfly Gala & Beauty Abounds quick & simple

Hello, here are the details for our first project this week using Butterfly Gala and Beauty Abounds.

I used one of my favourite Rectangle Stitched dies and stamped a background using the images from Beauty Abounds.

A stamped and punched out butterfly was coloured with the Stampin' Blends. I added Wink of Stella to the butterfly for a bit of sparkle (why is this super sparkly stuff so difficult to photograph?).

I used a couple of mini glue dots, placing them in the centre of the panel and adhered some metallic thread.  I curled and shaped the butterfly and adhered with a dab of Tombow.

Once the panel was finished I decided to decorate the inside of the card to coordinate.  A moment of inattention meant that I stamped on the front of the card instead - what's known as a happy accident!  However, I decided that I quite liked the effect so I left it and then I stamped on the inside too!

The panel has been adhered to the front of the note card with dimensionals.  Will you decide the stamp in the corner or not I wonder?

Here is the completed card and envelope - I stamped onto the envelope flap too.
