Woven Heirlooms - stepped up
Here are the details for our final project this week using the Woven Heirlooms bundle of stamps, dies and 3d embossing folders.
I am loving the new In Colours; particularly Seaside Spray and Pretty Peacock (I'm sure you have already guessed)!
One colour I have not used very much is Terracotta Tile so, I thought I had better take it off my shelf and use it.
I don't often used Very Vanilla card either - I much prefer Whisper White but the VV goes so well with Terracotta Tile.
We used the Heirloom die and 3d embossing folder to create a frame and used a sponge dauber to gently add some ink to the embossed areas to add definition.
Top Tip

Top Tip
Less is more with this technique - it's easier to add more ink until you reach the desired intensity than to try and remove it.
The lovely sentiment has been stamped in the centre of the card; how I wish my handwriting looked like this!
Using Floral Essence and Painted Harvest, we stamped an assortment of flowers and leaves using first and second generation ink. The flowers have been fussy cut out and we used the leaf punch.
The frame has been adhered using dimensionals, the flowers with dimensionals and Tombow and lastly, the leaves have been curled and shaped and adhered with Tombow.
A trio of pearls provides a finishing touch. Well it would have done if we hadn't been so busy chatting this afternoon that I completely forgot about the pearls - sorry ladies!
The inside of the card and the envelope have stamped borders again, using first and second generation ink.

As I make several of each project during the course of the week I decided to change things around a bit today.
I changed the colour of the frame, added and an extra flower too. I think, looking at the photo, I might add a single leaf between the two flowers at the front. You may also have spotted, as I mentioned above, the absence of any pearls!
Thanks to all the lovely ladies who joined me this week, it was lovely catching up with you all. Next week we will be using a stamp set called Playful Penguins. I will share details of the projects over the weekend.
