Snowman Season - stepped up

Hello, here are the details for our final project from last week using a stamp and punch bundle called Snowman Season.   Apologies for posting later than usual;  I had a pesky migraine that took a few days to clear.

I am loving the cheeky snowmen images in this bundle and so have my crafty ladies all last week!  The punch makes light work creating snowmen too.

We started with a Coastal Cabana card base and some simple matting and layering using Real Red card and this stunning Speciality Designer Series Paper.

This versatile paper has bright winter images with a touch of glitter on one side and on the other, basic patterns for use all year round.

We used a piece of Real Red card and White Craft Ink to create a background panel.  The snowfall has been stamped with an image from Peaceful Boughs.

Hand-Lettered Prose dies were used to cut out an s, n and w from thick whisper white card.

I used Puff Paint to highlight each letter and sprinkled some Dazzling Diamond glitter on top too.  Each letter was then carefully adhered using Tombox.

We stamped a snowman and punched out with the coordinating punch.  The arms have been punched from a scrap of Soft Suede card and adhered with a dab of Tombow.   Stampin' Blends were using to add some colour to the snowman and three red rhinestones added to the hat.  We used Shimmer Crystal Effects on the buttons.  I love the gloss and dimension this adds to projects and, even better this version has a bit of added sparkle too.

The snowman was adhered with dimensionals and forms the 'o' in snow.

I had some tiny glittery snowballs in my crafty stash so these were added as a final touch.

I don't usually add sentiments to the inside of the card but I love the font on this one so I did and, I added some snowflakes too, stamped in Coastal Cabana.

Here is the completed card and envelope - I also added stamped snowflakes along the edge of the envelope.

During the course of each week I often make slightly different versions of my projects. Here is one of them, this time with a pile of snowballs ready for some snowy fun!

On Thursday Maggie came up with this brilliant idea  - a juggling snowman!  Why did I not think of that?
