Craftyduckydoodah! Review of 2019 - Part 2
Hello, and welcome to part 2 of my review of 2019.
April is always exciting in the world of Stampin' Up! Myself and three of my crafty ducklings attended an event in Telford with hundreds of other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. We get to see the upcoming Annual Catalogue which is always exciting, we swap, catch up with old friends and make new friends too. We also bring home lots of new ideas, lots of inspiration and gifts from Stampin' Up!
My favourite project this month was this colourful creation made with dies and ink blending techniques. I love how the colours blend and merge to create new colours. This card uses a floating frame technique - you can find the details HERE.
May is always a busy month at Craftyducky HQ. Both my children celebrate their birthdays this month. My daughter always asks me to make a special card for her. This years was a particular favourite of mine. The llamas are from a retired stamp set but as Rosie has a thing for llamas I just had to use them again.
Stampin' Up! released the first ever Paper Pumpkin in the UK during May too.
This little box contained lots of lovely coordinating items designed by SU very own Shelli Gardiner, the founder of SU and former CEO.
I held a Paper Pumpkin Party in a local coffee shop - it was a very busy session!
I was honoured to be asked to run two craft sessions for some lovely ladies who attend a cancer support group in Ellington. The tea and homemade cake was an added bonus!

One of the perks of attending On Stage events is that you get to pre order goodies from the next Annual Catalogue. I think I got a bit carried away with my order - this is entirely normal of course!
To make room for my new goodies I sorted out my retiring items, here are a few of them. I offer some retiring items at my catalogue launch event as part of my BOGOF sale. Lots of ladies snapped up some bargains this year.

I hold my annual catalogue and BOGOF sale at the start of June each year. Here is the make and take project we did this year - a simple but effective colour combination using a brand new stamp set called Magnolia Lane.
Looking back, I have realised I used Magnolia Lane a lot in June, we used for Coffee & Cards and I also made the card above for a Joy of Sets blog hop I joined.
Well that's it for Part 2, I will be back soon with Part 3. I am back tomorrow to share a project I made for the latest Hopping Around The World blog hop using items from the upcoming Spring / Summer catalogue.
Crafty hugs!

Would you like to receive a FREE gift from me?
All orders placed directly with me or online receive a handmade card from me as a thank you but did you know that all orders over £20 (excluding postage) will receive a gift from me too? If you use the current Hostess Code I will pop something in with your order or post directly to you. (Please remember to allow me to access your contact details otherwise I won't be able to contact you).
If your order is over £150 please don't use the code as you will receive your own Stampin' Rewards. You will still receive a card and a gift from me.
If you are local to me and can collect, I’m happy for you to piggyback one of my orders to save on postage.
If you have any questions, I’m happy to help. You can email me susan_merrey@yahoo.co.uk or telephone 07905 403 823.

We used another ink technique to create this project, this time using sponge brayers. I made a version of this card for my son's birthday - he is a bit of a cycling nut and the slogan was perfect for him!
