Country Club - stepped up

Here are the details for our final project this week using items from the Country Club Suite of products.

Clubhouse, Country Club Suite, Craftyduckydoodah!, Male Cards, Spring / Summer 2020, Supplies available 24/7 from my online store, Susan Simpson UK Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

To create this stepped up project ...
Card base 29 cm x 10.5 cm, scored at 14.5 cm
Garden Green 10 cm x 14 cm
Crushed Curry 9.5 cm x 13.5 cm
DSP 4 cm x 9.5 cm

This project uses the Stitched Shape Dies.  You will need to die cut the largest square using thick ww.

Adhere the DSP across the front of the Crushed Curry card and then emboss with the Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder - hopefully you can see the effect on the photo below.

Die cut one golf ball, a tee and four pieces of grass, adhere as show using Tombow and dimensionals.  The die cut square has also been adhered with dimensionals.

Top Tip
I used a sponge dauber and some Soft Suede ink to add shading/dirt on one side of the golf ball for a more realistic look.

I wrapped some coordinating Baker's Twine around the panel (adhering with double sided tape) and then used dimensionals to adhere the panel to the card base.

I die cut a shield from Crumb Cake card and then used the same die to create the slightly smaller layer.  I drew around the inside edge of the die and carefully cut out.

I stamped the sentiment on the ww piece with Garden Green ink and adhered the shields with Tombow.

After cleaning the stamp, I used a scrap of ww card with Poppy Parade ink and then cut out the banner.  This tiny piece has been adhered with mini dimensionals.

I used some silver foil to cut out two golf clubs - how cute are these, love the embossed detail on the handles etc.

I adhered a couple of dimensionals on the reverse of the shield and then added the crossed golf clubs before adding to the card front.

Of course the inside of the card (and the envelope), have both received some attention.  The image has been stamped using Smoky Slate ink for a softer look.

I made a couple of different versions of this project during the week, changing the layout slightly.

Thanks to everyone who joined me this week, and of course, to Mae for providing the inspiration.  Next week we will be using a stamp set called Positive Thoughts to create two very different cards.  One clean and simple and the other, decidedly very shabby chic!  SO, for my crafty ladies - we will be scuffing lots of edges next week; you have been warned!

I'm back at the weekend hopping with Stampers Showcase.

Have a great weekend.

Susan xx
